If your serious about that new girl you asked out, you'll tell your ex to stay out of your life. Or (in a nice way) tell her that you're seeing someone else. But if you still like her you shouldn't have asked that other girl out just yet.

Yeah it's confusing. The thing is I wasn't really thinking about my ex when I asked the new girl out, cause I hadn't really been talking to her. Ever since I went to NY I've been texting her a lot, and we've just been talking a lot, which made me realize some things, which makes the entire situation kind of a mess lol.

So what are you going to do? This is just my opinion, ok? I think that you should stay with the new girl a bit longer. Its still the early days for you and her and maybe you'll end up falling for each other. But you better make up your mind quick, otherwise when (and if) you do break up with her, this situation may get a whole lot messier.
Anyway, keep talking to your ex. You know her a lot already and you could do with some comfort.
The thing is I don't know how much the new girl likes me. In fact I get the feeling she doesn't really like me all that much. I haven't talked to her once since I've been here, that's an entire week. I've tried to contact her, but she never answers. I even said for her to text me sometime when she's not busy, but still nothing.
I don't know. I should probably give it some time though and see what develops.
Well yeah, don't give up on the new girl yet. Maybe she's still shy around you but she should settle down soon. The more you get to know her, the more she'll tell you, but you have to show her, somehow, that you want to know more about her. Anyway yeah see what happens and remember: neverEVER hurt a girl without a real reason behind it cause the only thing a girl wants to know is why? why? why?
I would never want to. I know the pain of being hurt in the way of a relationship, as I've been cheated on before and blah blah blah. lol. I'd never want to do anything to hurt anyone else.

The future seems to be confusing. I'd go into detail, but there's too much detail, so I'll spare you lol. I just hope it all ends up well for me.
To summarize the detail: my ex wants to be with me, I still like her, but she lives in a different state, and there's no way I'm dealing with another long distance relationship lol.
It's confusing and sucks, but oh well.
